On-site photography session at Moorcroft Pottery’s Factory brings their talented designers into the spotlight
It is true that most of our work is product photography however, a lot of our clients need ‘people’ shots too.
Moorcroft Pottery are one our oldest clients and they asked us to capture images of their designers. To help them feel more comfortable we decided to do this on site, at the factory in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. If I am being honest I know the people really well so getting them to feel at ease wasn’t much of a problem. This is though one of the most important things when doing this kind of work and something I have been told I am particularly good at, I hope so.
The session took approximately 3 hours, with several different poses and locations being used. Small proof images were then supplied and 2 days later and from those the final choices were made. The images have been used in all manner of media and one of Rachel (head of the design studio) even featured on a bus recently!
