Capturing the Essence of Education: How We Create Engaging School Prospectus Photography
A little known fact about us is that for many years we have not only photographed businesses and the products that they make, but we have also captured images for the use in school prospectus.
Here are a few examples showcasing the variety of work we do.
Typically, we are invited to the school or college for a meeting to discuss the number of images needed, the preferred style, and the best approach for the project.
The school usually creates a storyboard with estimated timings for each subject to be photographed. During the session, I attend the class with a staff member to capture the necessary photos.
Whenever possible, I prefer to capture images in a ‘fly on the wall’ style, as it results in more natural-looking photos. Of course, there are always group shots that need to be arranged, and these are coordinated with the school.
Once the photography is complete, we review a large number of images. We then provide the school with small proof images, and they return to us with a list of the ones they would like edited and supplied in the highest quality.
